In Memoriam: Saundra Edena LeVeau (October 6, 1945 - December 2, 2023)

 

It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Saundra "Sandy" LeVeau, a woman of immense love, compassion, and humor. Born on October 6, 1945, in Henrietta, Oklahoma, Saundra peacefully departed this world on December 2, 2023, in Placerville, California.

Sandy leaves behind a lasting legacy through her daughters Patricia Pearson of Pagosa Springs, CO, Tabatha Hennessy of Chico, CA, Catherine Burger of Boise, ID, and Connie LeVeau of Rio Linda, CA. Her memory will forever be cherished by her nine grandchildren and four great-grandchildren.

Joined in matrimony with Ronald Leroy LeVeau, who predeceased her in 2005, Sandy and Ron opened their hearts and home to more than 50 foster children in Paradise, California. Their selfless dedication to these young lives left an enduring impact on the community and beyond.

A devoted member of the Paradise Seventh Day Adventist Church, Sandy found solace and strength in her faith. Her unwavering commitment to her beliefs was evident in the kindness and compassion she shared with everyone she encountered.

Sandy dedicated many years of her life to the Paradise Feather River Hospital, where her caring spirit touched the lives of both colleagues and patients. Her commitment to service and the well-being of others was truly remarkable.

Known for her infectious sense of humor, Sandy delighted in pulling pranks and sharing jokes with family and friends. Her love of children was boundless, and she approached life with a generous heart, leaving a trail of laughter and warmth in her wake.

Sandy's faith was a cornerstone of her life, and she took joy in sharing her love for Jesus with those around her. Her generosity knew no bounds, and she leaves behind a legacy of love that will endure in the hearts of all who were fortunate enough to know her.

As we bid farewell to Saundra Edena LeVeau, let us remember her with gratitude for the love she gave, the lives she touched, and the enduring impact of her kindness on the world. May she rest in eternal peace.
